Heart muscle disease or cardiomyopathy may not have any symptoms at all. If a person does display symptoms at all age does not have anything to do with it. If there are symptoms of cardiomyopathy it appears like the symptom of other type of heart disease. These include fainting, swelling, palpitations, and arrhythmia.
Pericarditis
It differs from coronary artery disease. Pericarditis symptom characteristics are very sharp chest pains. It sometimes spreads to the arms, back and neck. Much worse lying down, coughing, breathing deeply or swallowing. Sometimes sitting forward provides some relief.
